Processing PayPal payment for added payment

    I have manually added a payment to charge the customer for the balance owing (payment for the deposit was processed) however it did not charge their PayPal account for this added payment.
    When looking at the payment history, it is showing the status of that balance as “Completed”.
    What needs to be done to charge the customer’s Paypal for the balance owing?
