I just installed the plugin. Whatever page I edit, it messes up the format all the text and images are moved to the left. Please advice.

Unfortunately we can not define the issue with information you provided. Plugin should not work like this by default. Could you specify what theme you use and what plugins are installed and activated at your WordPress. Also make sure you use latest version of content Editor – 2.2.0. What is WordPress version installed at your website?
