Would like to filter maximum bookings per unit not accomadtion type.

I did send a message earlier about this but have added it here to see if anyone else thinks this would be useful.

I currently am setting up a site for a campsite that we are running next year.
The we have 3 pitch types eg, hardstanding serviced, grass serviced and grass
lets call them 1, 2, and 3
We also accept different units eg. campervans, motorhomes, tents, trailer tents and caravans.
We have more pitches than our licence for certain units – campervans + caravan + motorhomes. The total of which shouldn’t exceed our licence limit.
The problem I have is I don’t want to create an accomm0dation type for each pitch which is currently the only way I can see to limit pitches used.

It would be extremely useful to be able to limit the number of units types so we can show in the search that certain pitches are available for unit types.

I am hoping that whoever answered me misunderstood my message but if it would/is be possible to limit the unit type (- as displayed in the search bar in the main homepage template) so if I have reached a certain limit for say campervans then I can only accept trailer tents and caravans etc. for that pitch. Hopefully this would show that there was no availability for the chosen unit type (campervan in this example)
This would make the whole system much more efficient and easier to configure.

If there is a way of doing this without adding lots of extra types etc. (I read similar scenarios in other posts) then please could someone let me know?
